Within the framework of cooperation with international organizations, in order to fulfill the tasks arising from the “General Agreement on Migration”, “General Agreement on Refugees” and other projects related to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals in Turkmenistan, the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan cooperates closely with the representative office of the International Organization for Migration in Turkmenistan, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the Office of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in Turkmenistan, the Permanent Office of the United Nations Development Program in Turkmenistan and other relevant international organizations and implements related projects.
